Chamber Ambassador Committee

The Columbus Chamber’s Ambassador Committee plays a vital role in strengthening the connections between the Chamber and its partners. As dedicated goodwill representatives, Ambassadors help foster engagement, promote Chamber activities, and ensure partners feel supported and valued.

Requirements
To serve as an Ambassador, individuals must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Columbus Chamber partner in good standing (no outstanding invoices) for at least one year.
  • Actively participate in meetings and events, including:
    • Calls and Visits – Engage with Chamber partners as requested.
    • Collateral Delivery – Distribute Chamber materials to partners as needed.
    • Board Meeting Attendance – Attend at least 1 Chamber Board Meeting per year.
    • Networking Events – Attend at least 8 events per year.
      • Select from Business After Hours, Eye Opener Breakfasts, Morning Meetups, Women In Business, signature events, and more.
    • Ribbon Cuttings – Attend at least 10 ribbon cuttings per year.
    • Chamber 101 – Participate in at least 1 Chamber 101 session per year.

Commitment to Active Participation
Ambassadors must remain active by fulfilling the outlined annual requirements. Monthly committee meetings provide opportunities to collaborate, stay informed, and further support Chamber initiatives.

Purpose Statement
The Ambassador Committee is designed to strengthen the connections between the Chamber and its partners. Columbus Chamber Ambassadors attend events, visit new and existing partners, and encourage participation in Chamber activities.
